Do customers need to download an app?
No. The card lives directly in Apple Wallet or Google Wallet — the one that's already on your phone. No app store involved, ever.
What if I get a new phone?
Your stamps are stored in the cloud, not on your device. Sign in on your new phone and everything's still there, exactly as you left it.
How does the business stamp my card?
The business uses a simple web dashboard on any device — phone, tablet, computer. They tap your card with their device and the stamp is applied instantly. No special hardware required.
Is local. only for coffee shops?
Not at all. Any business with regulars — cafés, nail bars, bookshops, gyms, restaurants. If you've got repeat customers, local. works for you.
Can customers have multiple cards?
Yes — each business gets its own branded card in the customer's Wallet. Collect as many as you like; they're all organised neatly in one place.
Is this only for Australia?
For now, yes — we're building for Australian businesses first with local support and AUD pricing. We'll expand eventually, but right now our focus is here.
